1. Why do you think Cherry has become a "spy" for the greasers? If her friends found out that she was helping their rivals, how do you think they would react?
2. How do you feel about the fact that Johnny wants to turn himself in? Would you do the same thing, or would you react like Dally did? Why?

If I were Johnny I would turn myself in to the police because If they found tou later on and found out that you killed somebody then you would probably get in more trouble than if you would have told them that you did that before they found you. I would also turn myself in because I would not be able to sleep knowing that I killed a human being. This is why I think Johnny should turn hiself in the police when they get back home. I know I would.
As much as I wouldnt want to go to jail I probably would turn my self in just like johnny is thnking.I dont see the point off running-hiding from the cops anyway so I most likely woudnt listen to Dally.
(P.S. Hopefully I wouldnt have had to go through that in the first place!)
I think that Sherry became a spy for the greasers because she feels that she should help them, because she thinks the socs treat the greasers too bad. If her friends saw her they probably would tell the socs and then she would get treated really bad by all of them. They would not like that one of thier own kind has been the one who is betraying them.
I feel that Johnny is doing the right thing. I would probaly do the same thing that Johnny wants to do instead of because I would feel horrible inside of myself that I would have killed someone.
I think Cherry is helping the greasers because she said that if she saw Dally again she could fall in love with him. Also because bob is dead. Another reason might be because she said she hated fights and she wanted the greasers and the socs to be friends.
I think if her friends found out she was helping the greasers they would get mad at her.
I think Cherry Valence for the greasers because she realized that they arn't as bad as everyone thinks they are, and that they are just like them. She would probably lose all of her friends if they found out that she was helping the greasers, because they would think she is no better than the greasers that she works for.
I think that Cherry is making the right decision helping out the greasers. After that night where she was with Ponyboy and Johnny, I think she realized that greasers aren't that bad after all. If Cherry's friends found out that Cherry was helping the greasers, they would think she was a trader and it would probably ruin their frienship.
I would turn myself in because I think I would be let off a bit easy. This is because Johnny only killed Bob (soc) so he could save Pony. (self defence) Johnnny also helped save those kids in the burnning church get out all safe and all alive.Plus I dont think the fuzz will put him in the electric chair because he broke his back. Johnny didnt have a record with the police, and for all of the other good things he did, I think he will be let off easy. This is only a few reasons why I would turn myself in if I were Johnny.
If i was Jonny i would have turned myself in because if the police caught you your going to be in alot more trouble than if you turn yourself in.
Even though jail is not exactly fun I would have reacted like johnny because if you do something wrong you have to deal with the results of your own actions. Johnny dinnt mean to kill him but he did so it would be easier to go to the police than to run.
I think he is doing the right thing. I would have done the same thing. Maybe if he turns in to the police they will let him free or they will not give him lots of time in jail. If he does not turn hiself in and the police gets him they will leave him lots of years in jail. this is why I think Johnny should turn hiself to the police.
Knowing Johnny he has probably never done anything close to this in his life, and this must be a big decision for him to decide to turn himself in. I dont really think he'll get into a lot of trouble considering the Soc started it, and Johnny was just defending Ponyboy. After hiding in the church for 4 or 5 days i guess that Johnny just decided they should stop running. Hopefully they will just punish him farelly and not harshly just because he's a Greaser.

The reason I think Cherry was spy for the greasers is because deep down she know that it is her fault because she was with the greasers at the movies and her boyfriend did'nt like that. So that why they were gonna jump the greasers to get revenge.
I think that Cherry became a spy for the greasers because, she believed thats it's her fault Johnny and Ponyboy were jumped because Bob and Randy were angry at them for hitting on her and Marcia. She just wants to see if she can do anything to help the greasers out. I'm guessing that her friends would probably get extremelt angry at her for helping them out, and they would try to stop her from giving them some more information. I don't think she'll stop. I'm thinking she's also helping them because she felt real when she was around Ponyboy. If I were her I'd probably want to help the greasers out too, even if my friends hated them.
I think Cherry is a spy for the greasers because she has grown closer to them. She probably feels bad for the greasers because she has seen how the soc treat them so she wants to help them. I think that if the socs found out that Cherry was a spy they would feel betrayed and really mad because they thought Cherry was on their side. The other socs might be rude and mean to her since she told on them. I think Cherry is doing the right thing for the greasers since they were nice to her at the movies even though she is a socs.
Personally, I feel really bad for Johnny. He would never mean to cause trouble much less kill someone. I completely uncerstand why he wants to turn himself in, but he is afraid of the consequences. It's a very frightening situation. If I were Johnny I would have either turned myself in right after it happened or soon after that.
I think johnny is right about turning himself in. He has a good case
My friend was being drowned by Socs. I couldn't just let them kill him. There's no telling what they would have done to me after they killed him. I had to. It was self defense.
I probably would turn my self in. I'd rather have a chance of living normally than always being on the run. Hiding and scared of what the cops might find. Johnny is smart to do this. Dally just needs to think about it. Not just freak out and object immedately.
I think Cherry became a spy for spy greasers because she likes Pony-Boy. Also she dosn't really like the scos because the scos are always being mean and getting boozed up.If Cherrys so called friends found out she was helping the greasers she be in big troubel. She would probable be hurt really bad or maybe even killed. So I hope Cherry dosn't get caught.
I think that Johnny is pretty right about turning himself in besause he feels that its the right thing to do and he knows that his parents dont care about him anyway so thats the way he feels.I think that I would do the same thing to, if i was in the same situation to where my parents dont even care and i would probably feel that its the right thing to do also.
I think that Cherry has bocome a spy because she thinks she can fall in love with Dally if she ever sees im again. She also can't stand when people do anykind of fight. Even if it's just throughing a little punch to get their anger out. I bet if her friends found out that she was helping the greasers, they would turn their back on her never speak to her again. They would probly start calling her names just like they do to the greasers. ... Charry would have better friends anyway. She doesn't need to stoop to the socs level anyway... even though she is a soc.
If i were Johnny I would most definetly turn myself in. Well 1 because not telling the truth gets you into way more trouble than you already were in.2 because it would stress me out about having to keep it to your self.Not saying that i cant keep secrets but in this case it would kill me if i killed someone.The cops are already looking for Johnny and besides Johnny dosent want Ponyboys to get into trouble for something he didnt do.
I think Johnny should turn his self in . He was standing up for himself and Ponyboy . If he goes to jail hopefully it will not be a bad time for him and Ponyboy . I think he should not listen to Darry because he is a bad influnce on them . It was a good idea for a hide-out at first but, they should turn them selfs in . Ponyboy is missing Sodapop so he made a good choice of going back.
I would not want to go to jail.But I would turn myself in because if you just hid all your life and they finally find you you would get in more trouble then before.Also staying in a old church is kind of like a jail because they cant go outside.They have to stay inside all day with not that much food.I would also want to turn myself in because you could get it over with.
I think that the best thing for Johnny to do is turn himself in, because he never did anything wrong before and he was just using self-defense. I think that would be a good reason to keep him out of the electric chair. Johnny would probably still be in some kind of trouble because he is a greaser and they always get it worse.
If Johnny just kept running and never turned himself in there would always be a chance of the police finding him. And if they did catch him he would probably ended up in more trouble and found himself in the electric chair.

If I were Johnny I would turn myself in, because I know that it is the right thing to do. I wouldn't want to be stuck in the church as much as they do. It would be a wave of reliefe just to get it of my chest.Killing someone is a big deal and going around knowing that you did it without being punished is a big deal.If I were Johnny I would turn myself in because I am not a bad person and neither is he.
I think Cherry has become a spy for the greasers because she now sees what they go through and that they aren't as bad as she once thought. She probably wants to help them because of how the Socs sometimes treat them. If her friends found out I think they would disagree with how she felt since they don't even know the "real Cherry". Her friends would most likely not like her anymore and ignore her.
If it were me I would probably turn my self in to the police. It would be better if you just told them that you killed the person stricktly for self deffence. I would not ever want to go to jail, but they would probably let you off easier if you just came clean. You can't hide from the police for your entire life. Johnny should deffinatly turn himself in.
I think that I would feel really guilty if I would ever kill someone and I might feel guilty enough to turn myself in. Then again I probly wouldn't want to go to jail so I might run away for a little while just to cool off and find out what I would do next. Then after a while I would probly want to go home because I would miss everyone and then I would probly turn myself in for what I did.
